It’s hard to believe, but half a year has passed since we gathered for our last Veterinary Specialists in Private Practice (VSIPP) Conference. After the last attendee left and the last vendor stowed his display, planning for our next event began in earnest.

I’m happy to say that dates and a venue have been set and so we can share them with you, so you can begin making plans to join us at the newly renovated The Roosevelt – Waldorf Astoria Collection in New Orleans, Feb. 2 – 5, 2010.

Yes, that’s right. We are moving the 2010 VSIPP Conference to the Big Easy, where we will set our sights on a theme of “Revitalization: Revitalize Your Business, Your Mind and Your Soul.”

We’ve chosen an amazing property, The Roosevelt Hotel (formerly the Fairmont) is just completing its multi-million dollar renovation. This landmark hotel, located in a commercial area of New Orleans and less than two blocks from the French Quarter will impress the attendees and remains the standard on the expectations of VSIPP.

As you know, VSIPP succeeds because each year’s conference is designed to give attendees a learning situation in a relaxed, fun atmosphere. We know that people learn and retain more when they are enjoying themselves. There is no place better than the jazz capital of the world for veterinary specialists to become rejuvenated with fresh ideas on how to renew their practices. As always VSIPP planners will create a program that emphasizes less formal presentations and gives attendees plenty of time to visit with vendors and to network.
